The book was designed and printed in an 8x8 format. The illustrations guide the reader throughout a journey with a life lesson we all should learn. Strati means layers in Italian, and as Beeny understands it, peals of the layers of its shell just like a bean is supposed to. The goal of the story is to create awareness of living in the present. Enjoy life as it comes and lives the sad moments as well, but let them go.
